After his father is taken away, the boy seems more concerned about his dog than his own father. Do you think he really cares more about his dog than his own father? Why does he act this way?
yeh sometimes cause his dad was the last one to see Sounder so he loves both of them at some points of the book so his dad keeps on saying to his sun he is going to be ok sun I believe that he is ok. Anna >+o
I think that the boys father cares about him and that both the story's but he loves Sounder more in the first story but in the second one he loves his father more. ANNA >+O

I think he acts that way because he is scared and sounder makes him feel safe. And because he wants to make sure that he doesn't lose Sounder too
